How to reach us
Email hello@icelandglaciertours.com. We answer in English, usually within two working days.
We are a booking guide, not a tour operator, so we cannot change, cancel or refund a booking. That goes to the operator through the site you booked on, whose contact details are on your confirmation. If you cannot find them, write to us and we will point you to the right place.
If your tour was cancelled, or you missed the start
A refund or a new date is the operator’s to give. Your confirmation email carries their contact and your booking reference, which is the fastest route. Every tour listed here refunds in full if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead.
Meeting points are the commonest thing to go wrong on a glacier day, because the bases sit on side roads off Route 1 and some operators move a group on the morning. If it happened to you, give the operator the date, the base you were sent to and the time, in writing, the same day.
Corrections
If a fact here is wrong or out of date, tell us what and where. Fees change, trails close and caves come and go, and the fastest fix is usually a reader who has just been. Every page carries the date it was last checked.

Where the official information is
The national park’s visitor centre
Skaftafellsstofa Visitor Centre, Skaftafell, 785 Öræfi, Iceland. Telephone +354 470 8300. Open all year: January and February 10:00 to 17:00; March to May 09:00 to 17:00; June to August 09:00 to 19:00; September and October 09:00 to 18:00; November 09:00 to 17:00; December 10:00 to 17:00. It answers for trail closures, the campsite and the regional parking fee.
The lagoon and its rangers
The Breiðamerkursandur rangers look after Jökulsárlón and the ice caves in the glacier behind it, and answer on 842-4355 every day of the year.
